Always take care of yourself(quitting smoking)!

Yeah me, I AM QUITTING SMOKING! Allen Carr wrote the book"The Easy Way To Stop Smoking" about twenty some odd years ago and has managed to sell over 6,000,000 million copies world wide. I wonder how many people have stopped smoking and didn't press pause on their smoking lives. I started smoking when I was 16 and have quit 2 maybe 6 times since then. I can only remember truly stopping for more then just a couple of months once. I must have been 20 years old. I remember going to the apartment I shared with my sister and brother in-law, I was totally embarrassed of smelling like an ashtray around them. After a day of school, smoking, working out, smoking, lunch, smoking, studying, smoking, and driving and smoking at the same time. At a red left turn signal I put maybe 6 cigarettes in my mouth and started to smoke all of them at once, after a few puffs I was vomiting and causing traffic to back up. I stopped smoking for 2 years that day.

Well its been a while since I was 20(no I will not tell you how old I am), but now and 5 months from the year before I become 30, I think its time to put the cancer sticks away. No last pow wow. NO missing the pieces of sh!t, None of that.

Allen Carr suggests I continue to smoke while reading the book, I'm reading chapter 24 on "just one cigarette". Only eight more chapters to go and I will no longer be a smoker. Ask me in a couple of months...( Oh my god my neighbors are having CRAZY SEX)!
Ok, Like nasty crazy I thought we were experiencing an earthquake but we don't have those in NYC....Sorry.

Any way, yeah it is passe out of vogue and gross.

Maybe I should Never.

So this morning I was on looking at my horoscope that was promising me quite an eventful day, good career day, good luck in the form of finding some money, maybe love. I should have been satisfied. Scrolling through the endless archives, advertisments and ambushes of images found facebook/horoscope.com. I see that there is a tarot option...What do I do next? Enter my birthday. What happens next?

I'm supposed to have the most important week of my life. Career is crucial, my love life jolted and my all of my "core" cards have contradicting images or anything but coinciding stories attached to the pictures of for example a fool and the emperor . What does this tell me? Nothing! I dont beleive in this bullsh!t(unless its good). Maybe I should have spent those last 10 minutes getting ready to jump on the train so I wouldnt have been late for my spin class, or making coffee or something other than feeling like I didn't have control over my life. Like some computer generated random shuffling of variables has any influence over my reality. You get what I'm saying? If you want to get it together, then get it together. If you have it together and stuff is working for you maybe never listen to on online tarot reading.

Peace

Always carry gum with you.

Sometimes it can be in the form of a song that has been stuck in your head for say... one year two months and three days. If you ask AL, my huge imaginary loft mate, not her; the loft. She will tell you I seem to think this song is new I also pretend not to be obsessed. speaking of obsessions I AM OBSESSED (in a bad way)with Cory Kennedy, a "model" made famous by the photographer COBRASNAKE. Old news, MAYBE. Good to know ALWAYS!

ALWAYS... Be with your BOO momma

From the moment word first leaked that West Village foodie hangout Fatty Crab might be coming to the Upper West Side, residents of that nabe—which not too long ago was known as Manhattan’s “culinary wasteland”—were aflutter. That was November 2006 and in the more than two years hence, the unusually long foreplay that preceded the restaurant’s arrival did nothing to dampen the buzz. And that’s a good thing, because at last, Fatty Crab Upper West will unlock its doors to the public—this Wednesday night.

Owner Zak Pelaccio threw a a sneak preview party on Saturday evening and anyone lucky enough to have been on his invite list got a sampling of some of the best Malaysian cuisine this side of Kuala Lumpur. The cocktails (especially the Fatty Sour) were pretty darn good, too. Yes, indeed: some things are worth traveling for. Even if getting there means taking the 1 train north of Columbus Circle.

Always.

Choose your own adventure. The following video is for my friends KICK ASS band Hearts Revolution, check this video out it is FUTURE.

You should go to my friends restaurant the Fatty Crab, on the upper East Side. The best Malay cooking in NYC, and prepared by a hot chef(Corwin).

Seriously though, you have go to try the Tea cake so GOOD and great margaritas too.

I think they are opening a Restaurant in Williamsburgh soon! PROPS CORWIN!
